Job responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries efficiently
- Book, amend, and cancel patient appointments using the clinical system
- Register new patients and update patient records accurately
- Process repeat prescription requests in line with practice procedures
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and letters
- Scan and file clinical documents accurately onto patient records
- Signpost patients to the most appropriate clinician or service
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with GDPR requirements
