Our client, a leading property investment and development business based in Central London, is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of building services across a high‑quality commercial portfolio. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day management of all M&E and technical services across a diverse Central London portfolio.
  • Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring statutory compliance and best‑in‑class service delivery.
  • Manage service providers, contractors, and specialist consultants, driving performance, value, and accountability.
  • Support capital works, refurbishments, and lifecycle projects from planning through to completion.
  • Monitor building performance, energy usage, and sustainability initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide technical expertise to asset managers, development teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting, and documentation in line with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Build strong relationships with occupiers, ensuring a responsive and customer‑centric approach.

About You

  • Strong technical background in building services, ideally with experience in commercial real estate.
  • Proven track record managing M&E operations, contractors, and compliance within a property or FM environment.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence, challenge, and collaborate across teams.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving business with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven mindset.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., electrical/mechanical engineering, IWFM, HNC/HND) are advantageous.
