An established public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Policy Officer to join their team on a 3-month rolling contract, with the assignment expected to run for 9–12 months. This is an excellent opportunity for a policy professional looking to contribute to high-profile strategic work within a supportive team environment. The role offers hybrid working, with occasional on-site presence required depending on project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of a range of strategic policy projects, which may include:
  • Drafting and shaping policy documents
  • Contributing to research, analysis, and evidence gathering
  • Supporting land or spatial planning-related assessments
  • Assisting in commissioned work and stakeholder engagement
  • Providing high-quality written and analytical outputs to senior staff

Desired Experience

  • (Experience with land supply, G&T, or similar areas is beneficial but not essential.)

The role is scoped at Senior Officer level, with an estimated pay range of £45–£50ph.
