A Local Authority in Lancashire is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its Engineering Team on an initial 6 month contract.
This opportunity has arisen due to a long-term absence, with a strong likelihood of extension based on ongoing project demands.
The role is offering exposure to a broad portfolio of civil engineering projects rather than a narrow specialist focus.
The Role You will play a key role in the delivery of a range of engineering schemes across the borough, managing projects through various stages from design and feasibility through to construction and completion.
The successful candidate will be involved in project management, design coordination, site inspections, contractor liaison, and the successful delivery of infrastructure improvements.

- A broad civil engineering background

- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously Desirable Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
- Public realm projects
- Car park design and construction
- Footpaths, Public Rights of Way (PROW) or recreational infrastructure
- Environmental improvement schemes
