About the Role:
Oyster have partnered with a mixed-use developer to find an Analyst to join their Investment team. This is a key role for a financial analyst to work alongside senior executives in managing projects and executing strategic initiatives across several major development projects in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop financial models for mixed-use developments.
- Manage the business plan and financial elements of ongoing development projects.
- Play a key role in the refinancing of significant development and investment loans due to mature in the next 1-2 years.
Development Analysis:
- Lead the development analysis for key sites.
- Present underwriting model outputs to investors.
Plot Analysis and Structuring:
- Contribute to development analysis for upcoming plots, focusing on design options, debt, and equity structures.
- Model and analyse various design scenarios and massing options.
What You Will Deliver:
- Maintain, modify, and build financial models for mixed-use development projects.
- Take ownership of the financial elements of the development business plan.
- Lead quarterly reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive the refinancing process for development loans.
- Own the financial model for strategic development sites, advising on the best planning and financial strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of real estate finance concepts, including debt modelling.
- 1-2 years experience in real estate.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
