The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pest Control Operative to join a Yorkshire-based Local Authority on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who can quickly integrate into a busy team and manage a varied daily workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend residential and commercial sites across the area
  • Carry out pest control treatments including:
    • Rodents
    • Insects (ants, wasps, fleas, cockroaches, bed bugs)
  • Complete job sheets and associated paperwork on-site
  • Adhere to health & safety and organisational procedures
  • Represent the authority in a professional manner

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in pest control (essential)
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong practical skills with attention to detail
  • PCA Level 2 qualification (desirable, not essential)
  • DBS check (desirable but not required)

Working Hours

  • Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30
  • Friday: 08:30 – 16:00
