Job Title: Pest Control Operative Location: Yorkshire Job Type: Contract (6 months) Rate: Negotiable DOE Start Date: ASAP Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pest Control Operative to join a Yorkshire-based Local Authority on an initial 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who can quickly integrate into a busy team and manage a varied daily workload. Key Responsibilities: * Attend residential and commercial sites across the area * Carry out pest control treatments including: * Rodents * Insects (ants, wasps, fleas, cockroaches, bed bugs) * Complete job sheets and associated paperwork on-site * Adhere to health & safety and organisational procedures * Represent the authority in a professional manner Requirements: * Previous experience working in pest control (essential) * Ability to work independently in a field-based role * Full UK driving licence * Strong practical skills with attention to detail * PCA Level 2 qualification (desirable, not essential) * DBS check (desirable but not required) Working Hours: * Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 16:30 * Friday: 08:30 – 16:00 What’s on Offer: * Immediate start available * Van, PPE, and uniform provided * Stable 6-month contract with potential extension * Supportive and experienced team How to Apply: If you’re an experienced Pest Control Operative available to start at short notice, please apply today with your CV or get in touch for more information
