Highways Inspector 🚧 I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Highways Inspector to join a well established Local Authority highways team, located in the South East of England. 🛣️ You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive highway safety inspections across carriageways and foot ways, identifying and risk-assessing defects, raising works orders and maintaining accurate inspection records. 🔍 Key duties include: 🚗 Carrying out highway safety inspections ⚠️ Identifying, assessing and categorising highway defects 🔧 Raising and monitoring repair works 📋 Maintaining records to support Section 58 defence and claims ✅ Inspecting completed highway works 💬 Responding to public and councillor highway enquiries 💻 Updating highway asset/inspection systems such as Symology or Insight Previous local authority highways inspection experience would be highly desirable. 📩 Interested?
