An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join a leading social housing provider on an interim basis. Working within the Property Services team, you will play a key role in delivering an ambitious housing investment programme, helping to ensure homes remain safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard.
This position will involve undertaking comprehensive stock condition surveys across a diverse residential portfolio, gathering accurate asset data, and supporting long-term investment, maintenance, and asset management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake stock condition surveys of residential properties, communal areas, and associated assets.
- Assess and record the condition, age, and remaining lifespan of key building components including kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows, doors, heating systems, and external elements.
- Collect, validate, and maintain accurate asset data using asset management systems and handheld technology.
- Identify and report defects, health and safety hazards, and compliance-related issues.
