The predicted salary is between 31500 - 42000 Β£ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the damp, mould and disrepair function within a forward thinking social housing provider.
You will be responsible for ensuring cases are inspected, diagnosed, managed and resolved in line with statutory requirements, including Awaab's Law, HHSRS and the Housing Ombudsman Complaint Handling Code.
The role combines technical leadership with team management to ensure high quality service delivery and improved outcomes for residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and support a team of surveyors, including workload allocation, performance monitoring and technical guidance.
- Lead on complex damp, mould and disrepair cases, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective remedial actions.
- Ensure compliance with Awaab's Law, HHSRS requirements and internal policies, maintaining statutory timescales.
- Oversee cases from inspection through to completion, working closely with legal teams, contractors and housing management.
- Carry out inspections, prepare specifications and reports as required.
