Our client is seeking a hands-on Repairs Surveyor to manage day-to-day responsive repairs and legal disrepair cases. This is a field-based role requiring regular visits to tenants' homes, close collaboration with contractors, and coordination with the in-house legal team on case progression and formal documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day reactive repairs across the housing portfolio.
- Work directly with contractors to ensure repairs are completed to required standards.
- Handle legal disrepair cases, acting as a liaison between tenants, contractors, and the legal team.
- Produce accurate and comprehensive Scott Schedules and other required legal documentation.
- Visit tenants' homes to assess issues, document findings, and ensure safety and compliance.
- Support repairs related projects, including safety issue management and case-specific interventions.
