A large social housing provider is seeking an experienced Interim Gas Manager to lead gas compliance, contract performance and resident safety across its housing portfolio. This role sits within the Housing Operations function and plays a critical part in ensuring full statutory compliance and high-quality service delivery.
The organisation has ambitious investment plans, with a significant capital programme focused on improving occupied homes over the next two years. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished Gas professional to take ownership of a high-profile compliance function and make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all gas servicing, maintenance and compliance across housing stock and relevant non-housing assets.
- Ensure full compliance with Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998 and relevant HSE Approved Codes of Practice.
- Achieve and maintain 100% completion of annual gas safety checks.
- Maintain accurate and compliant landlord gas safety records in line with the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.
- Oversee gas contracts, monitoring KPIs and SLAs.
