An experienced Building Surveyor is required to support a leading social housing provider in delivering high quality inspection, diagnostic and remedial services across a residential property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor with strong expertise in damp, mould, condensation and building pathology to play a key role in improving residents' living conditions and ensuring homes remain safe, compliant and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed property inspections relating to damp, mould and condensation issues.
- Diagnose building defects and identify root causes.
- Produce clear technical reports, recommendations and specifications of work.
- Oversee remedial works from inception through to completion.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are delivered to a high standard.
- Maintain accurate records and case management documentation.
- Liaise directly with residents, providing clear communication throughout the process.
