Interim Finance Business Partner I'm pleased to be supporting a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire that is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Business Partner to join their team. The Role * Finance Business Partner * Nottinghamshire District Council | Hybrid/Remote Working * 6-12 month contract | ASAP Start Key Responsibilities * Act as a finance business partner to designated service areas and budget holders. * Support budget monitoring, forecasting, and financial planning activities. * Assist with budget setting and year-end processes. * Produce and review reconciliations, including debtor and control account reconciliations. * Process journals and support monthly financial reporting. * Attend meetings with managers and stakeholders across assigned directorates. * Support small finance projects and service improvement initiatives. * Escalate complex issues to senior finance colleagues where required. Essential Experience * Local government finance experience. * Budget monitoring and forecasting. * Reconciliations and financial reporting. * Stakeholder management and business partnering. * The ability to manage workload independently. About You * A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills. * A team player who enjoys working collaboratively. * Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn. * Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
