The predicted salary is between 24750 - 30250 Β£ per year.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy Port Health Service based in Southampton, playing a key role in protecting public health.

The successful candidate will carry out inspections of imported food products arriving from countries outside the EU, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and safety standards.

The role will also involve a variety of public health responsibilities, including ship sanitation inspections and supporting investigations into infectious diseases.

This position operates on a shift basis, with working hours typically from 1pm to 9pm, alongside Saturday working on a rota basis approximately every five weeks.
