The predicted salary is between 40000 - 45000 £ per year.

The Role As the designated Qualifying Supervisor, you will act as the technical authority for electrical installations, ensuring all work complies with current regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities include

Authorising and overseeing electrical certification and compliance.

Ensuring all electrical work meets current BS7671 standards.

Carrying out witness testing and competency assessments of electricians.

Providing technical guidance, training and support to operational teams.

Managing inspection, testing and reporting processes.

Leading external compliance audits and accreditation assessments.

Monitoring contractor and operative performance to maintain high quality standards.

Ensuring testing equipment is calibrated, maintained and compliant.

Investigating technical issues and implementing corrective actions where required.

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have

Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor or Electrical Supervisor.

Strong knowledge of BS7671, Inspection & Testing and the Electricity at Work Regulations.

Experience within housing, property maintenance, construction or refurbishment environments.

A proven ability to manage quality, compliance and technical standards.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience supervising electrical operatives and contractors.

Essential Qualifications NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing qualification.
