The Faculty of Law is looking to recruit an Access and Admissions Administrator to support the delivery of the faculty’s admissions and access activities and to support the annual undergraduate admissions exercise. The role reports to the Senior Access and Outreach Officer and works closely with the Admissions and Outreach Officer. Flexible working hours are required at times and any overtime may be taken in lieu as soon as possible after it is worked.
Responsibilities:
- Support administrative processes relating to the Law National Aptitude Test (LNAT) results.
- Coordinate and deliver events, enlisting the involvement of academics, and staying up to date with outreach developments within the higher education sector.
- Assist the Admissions & Outreach Officer with queries from prospective applicants, parents and schools, especially when the officer is not available.
- Manage budgets for events and answer questions about expenditure, periodically reporting to the Finance Manager on progress against budget.
Qualifications:
- Strong event coordination experience, including online events and use of virtual learning platforms.
- Good understanding of how to communicate with target audiences.
- Flexible approach to work, with an enthusiastic and co-operative attitude, willingness to work overtime on some occasions, and strong organisational skills.
- Experience working within Further Education or Higher Education is desirable.
Location: This role is full time, permanent and based at the Faculty of Law, St Cross Building, St Cross Road, Oxford, OX1 3UL.
