The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
Location: 293 London Rd, Headington, Oxford, OX3 9EH
Contract: Self-employed, Freelance
Hours: Flexible, agreed together, with steady regular days
Availability:
- Monday - Thursday: 10 am to 9 pm | Unpaid lunch break | One shift per day (morning or afternoon), or two shifts, if you wish to.
- Friday: Winter: 8 am/ 9 am to 3 pm / 4 pm | Summer: 11 am / 12 pm - 7 pm / 8 pm
- Saturday: Closed
- Sunday: Required 9 am to 5 pm with one-hour unpaid lunch break, or 2:30 pm to 8 pm
Appointments are scheduled in advance and are not changed to suit therapist preferences, except in the case of a genuine emergency.
Commission:
- 40% of total treatment price - under 2 years' experience
- 45% of total price - 2+ years' experience
When promotions, loyalty rewards or special offers apply, commission is calculated on the discounted treatment price. An invoice must be raised to The Oxford Massage Centre business name. Payments are made weekly, fortnightly or monthly (by agreement). We kindly ask that payments are not requested on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Level 3+ Holistic and Therapeutic Massage Therapy / ITEC qualification + Deep tissue massage
- Passionate about massage therapy and delivering excellence
- Valid professional insurance
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Right to work in the UK
- Good spoken and written English
- Reliable and professional
- Comfortable being recorded for short promotional videos for social media

Role:
- Deliver high-quality massage treatments
- Carry out client consultations and maintain treatment notes
- Provide professional, attentive client care
- Clean and reset the treatment room after each client, including any other areas used by the client (waiting area, WC).
- Work with an online booking system, with a 30-minute buffer between appointments for cleaning and a short break.
- Offer herbal tea and water to clients where appropriate, and ensure cups are washed after use.
- Keep the staff area, treatment rooms, waiting area, and all shared clinic areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times.

Please also note that the premises are closed from Friday after sunset until Saturday after sunset. This is a non-negotiable arrangement due to the owner's personal religious beliefs.
