The Oxford Car Service Centre Ltd is a family run business in the heart of Oxford.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MOT Tester to join our team. As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring that vehicles meet safety and emissions standards. This is an important role in ensuring the safety of our customers and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. If you have a strong mechanical background and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Perform MOT tests on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and motorcycles
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle components, systems, and emissions
- Identify and document any defects or issues that may impact the vehicle's safety or compliance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential safety hazards
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate test results and recommendations
