About The OWN Studio is a London-based luxury wedding and evening wear label redefining modern occasion dressing. Since launching in 2019, we’ve built a cult following in the UK and internationally, establishing a reputation for innovation, quality and design-led minimalism. As we enter an exciting new phase of growth, we’re seeking a Senior Designer to lead the design of seasonal and ongoing collections across bridal and evening wear.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of seasonal and ongoing collections across bridal and evening wear
  • Develop strong creative concepts and narratives that align with the OWN aesthetic and DNA and push the brand forward creatively
  • Create and develop initial sketches, silhouettes, and technical drawings
  • Drive innovation in design, cut, construction, and detail
  • Collaborate with product developer on fabrics, trims, and finishes in line with brand positioning and price point
  • Oversee the evolution of designs from concept through to final sample from a design perspective
  • Work in close partnership with the Product Developer to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with product strategy
  • Attend fit sessions and guide refinements from a design perspective
  • Work closely with pattern cutters and makers to achieve the desired outcome
  • Uphold the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship that we are known for as a brand
  • Ensure all product aligns with the broader brand identity and creative direction
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to identify hero pieces, support campaign concepts and shoots, contribute to visual storytelling

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in luxury evening wear design at a senior level
  • A clear point of view on what makes product feel current, aspirational, and culturally relevant
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a luxury aesthetic, attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Deep understanding of fabric, construction and fit
  • Ability to balance creative vision with commercial awareness
  • Highly collaborative, with strong communication skills
  • Experience working closely with product development and production teams
