We are a fast growing luxury fashion label specialising in contemporary wedding and evening wear. We’re looking for an Atelier Manager to join our growing team – an organisational leader who thrives in a design-led environment.
Role Overview
As Atelier Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the atelier and fitting spaces. You’ll oversee our fittings calendar, lead bridal fittings with care and confidence, and support our Head of Atelier with collection development and production processes.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day atelier schedule and team capacity to ensure the atelier runs smoothly and efficiently, balancing capacity across:
- Bespoke commissions
- Client alterations
- Client dress collections
Ensuring the atelier is always fully stocked with fabric and trims and carrying out regular inventory checks.
Overseeing the organisation of the atelier, ensuring the space is clean and tidy and machinery is running smoothly and regularly serviced.
Maintain and update atelier calendars, WIP reports, and internal communication logs
- Working closely with the Head of Atelier on sampling, sourcing, fittings, and timelines
- Liaising regularly with fabric suppliers, pattern cutters, graders and manufacturers to ensure sampling is running as per the critical path
- Oversee our in-house fittings calendar
- Manage the diary to optimise workflow and avoid bottlenecks in busy periods
- Lead and support bridal fittings, offering an exceptional, reassuring client experience
- Prepare briefing notes for the fitting team ahead of each fitting and ensure the fitting spaces are always beautiful and inviting
- Ensure fitting notes are captured accurately and communicated clearly to the client
You’ll Have
- Experience working in a luxury fashion, or made-to-measure environment
- Strong knowledge of fittings and garment construction (pattern cutting or sewing skills a plus)
- Excellent organisational skills with a natural ability to multitask and prioritise
- A calm, confident manner with clients and team members
- A deep appreciation for craftsmanship, process, and attention to detail
