Associate - Speech & Language Therapists

We ask for a minimum of one school day per week to support continuity of care for our clients. As an Associate SLT, you\’ll be giving children a voice by supporting the delivery of key speech and language interventions. We have immediate demand for therapists to work within areas including: Slough Stockport Oxford Gloucester Cheltenham Derby Nottingham Don\’t delay, send in your application now! We\’re Looking For Therapists With A minimum of 2 years experience (post-qualification and competencies). A relevant Speech & Language degree, approved by the HCPC and RCSLT. HCPC registration (with no restrictions or active investigations). Strong organisational and communication skills to proactively manage your own caseload. Access to and evidence of supervision, in line with HCPC requirements. For Slough-based therapists, Dysphagia training would be an added benefit, but not essential! What You\’ll Be Doing Delivering speech and language assessments to clients, including identification of the speech/communication difficulty to inform the appropriate interventions. Observing and testing patients to assess specific difficulties and their impact. Planning and developing appropriate therapy programmes based on the individual patient needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Liaising with the Owl Centre team, school staff, and parents/guardians. Managing a caseload while taking into account priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral, and discharge of service users.
