Responsibilities

  • Produce a range of artisan breads, pastries and baked goods following recipe cards and quality standards.
  • Mix, knead, shape, prove and bake – ensuring consistency, precision and creativity.
  • Monitor oven temperatures, dough development and baking times to deliver perfect results.
  • Maintain clean, organised workspaces and uphold the highest food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Work closely with the Head Baker.
  • Contribute to new recipe ideas and seasonal specials.
  • Early starts giving you the daytime off. Working 5 nights per week with weekends off.

About you

  • Previous experience as a Baker, Bread Baker or Pastry Baker (minimum 1 year).
  • Strong practical skills in dough handling, shaping and baking.
  • A genuine passion for artisan baking and craftsmanship.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene, CCPs and kitchen safety.
  • Reliable, organised and ready to work early shifts.
  • A team player with the energy, ambition and drive to grow into a senior role.
  • Must have own transport unless you live within walking distance.
