The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are currently recruiting for our client, a successful food manufacturer based on the Newport outskirts. You will ensure all products produced are safe and legal; manufactured to standards that meet or exceed all agreed internal and external specifications.
Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinate all technical and quality activities to ensure that products are manufactured against agreed specifications.
- Maintain overall responsibility for the HACCP plan and Allergen risk assessments.
- Maintain the position of HACCP Team Leader.
- Carry out internal audits and maintain the overall internal audit schedule for the site.
- Lead all 3rd party audits.
- Work cross functionally with all departments to ensure that the entire business takes accountability for technical standards.
- Work with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials.
- Lead a team of quality experts.
In order to be considered for the role you must be able to demonstrate that you have operated as a Quality or Technical Manager within a food manufacturing experience, you will have worked with the retailers and have excellent BRC and retailer code of practice experience.
