We are currently recruiting for an exciting start up business that is growing rapidly. Operating in the food manufacturing industry, they have been backed by leading food industry professionals, which has given them a significant advantage in the industry.
The individual will be responsible for:
- Performance and financial control at the site
- Planning production schedules
- Managing stock and raw materials levels
- Assisting with financial reports
- Instituting and maintaining demand planning systems to control both raw material purchases and production output
- Maintaining accuracy of stock record keeping, rotation, and picking disciplines to minimise stock losses
- Providing costings for both made in-house and brought-in products, tracking variances, and driving improvements
- Supporting inbound transport and customer delivery schedules to reduce costs and maximise efficiencies and customer service
- Ordering raw materials and finished goods in line with sales and production forecasts
- Producing finance reports to submit to the company accountants
We appreciate that this is not a standard role, and as such, we are looking for an individual who has worked within a planning or supply chain function but possesses a strong analytical mindset. You MUST have operated within a food manufacturing environment in the past to be considered for this role. Ideally, you will have experience in a small to medium-sized business, be a strong team player, and have a curious mindset, always looking to find new solutions to become more efficient.
