We are working with a fast-growing UK food manufacturer that is investing heavily in innovation, new production capability and long-term category growth. They are now looking to appoint a commercially driven National Account Manager to support and accelerate their retail ambitions.

This is a high-impact role with a strong new business focus, targeting major UK grocery retailers while also developing an existing key account. The position sits within a business that has a clear strategy, an active innovation pipeline and the infrastructure in place to scale.

  • Drive new business opportunities across UK grocery retail, with an initial focus on winning new listings
  • Manage and grow an existing retail account, building long-term, value-led partnerships
  • Own commercial negotiations, JBPs, forecasts and revenue delivery
  • Work closely with operations, supply chain, category and marketing to deliver growth plans
  • Play a key role in bringing new products and innovation to market

About you

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior Account Manager within food retail
  • Strong new business and negotiation capability with major grocery multiples
  • Commercial, proactive and comfortable operating in a growth-focused environment
  • Confident managing cross-functional stakeholders and senior buyers

Contract details

This role is offered as a 9-month fixed-term contract initially, with a strong likelihood of moving to a permanent position based on performance and ongoing business growth. Salary is up to £75,000 plus package.
