We’re partnering with a highly successful UK manufacturer to recruit TWO Senior Process Development Technologists into their expanding NPD function in Manchester. The Role:
As a Senior Process Development Technologist, you’ll play a key role in bringing products to life from concept through to launch within a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll be heavily involved in factory trials, retailer launches, critical path management and cross functional project delivery, working closely with Development, Operations, Technical and Commercial teams. This is the ideal role for someone who enjoys pace, visibility and ownership, and who thrives when juggling multiple launches and deadlines.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading and validating factory trials
- Managing retailer driven projects from concept to launch
- Owning critical paths and ensuring launches stay on track
- Presenting confidently to major retail customers
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
- Working cross functionally across a large manufacturing operation
- Stepping up during busy launch periods and managing multiple priorities
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ Process experience within Food Manufacturing
- Strong factory trial and scale up experience
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Leadership or mentoring capability
- Food Science/Food Technology degree or similar
- Ambitious, forward thinking and commercially aware mindset
