The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are currently working with an exciting business that is at the start of their journey, manufacturing a truly unique product and supplying into predominantly food service customers presently but with the growth strategy to move into the retailers when the time is right. Due to continued growth and pressure on the existing team, we are now pleased to be recruiting a Finance and Supply Chain Manager to support the ongoing growth of the business.

Reporting into the MD, this role will be in charge of all of the financial and performance control functions required of a small manufacturing operation. Some outsourced support will be provided where required from an accountancy firm familiar with the business.

Finance
  • Maintain or manage financial records including receipt, input and production of day-to-day commercial documents and overseeing bookkeeping protocols.
  • Oversee production of Monthly Management Accounts in prescribed P&L and Balance Sheet formats and present narrative of their analysis at monthly investor meetings.
  • Take ownership of budget and forecast models for internal and external scrutiny as required.
  • Control and maximise cashflow through timely collection of debtor book and management of payment of creditor ledgers.
  • Oversee order taking and production of invoices.
Performance Control
  • Evaluate the introduction of software into the company and develop existing systems that maximise customer service and productivity and maintain business effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain a KPI infrastructure to control performance and costs.
  • Provide sales analysis and associated systems to support business development.
  • Provide all other adhoc reports, analysis, performance data and record keeping as required to improve business performance.
  • Maintain accuracy of stock record keeping, rotation and picking disciplines to minimise stock losses.

In order to be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate a strong grounding in either finance or supply chain and analytics, but you will have a real desire to be operating in a rounded role that will give you exposure to all areas of a manufacturing business. You will be adaptable and keen to be part of a growing business with an excellent culture and amazing people.
