A leading FMCG food manufacturer is currently seeking a site Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator to join their expanding business in the East Glasgow area. The successful Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator will be instrumental in the roll‐out of lean and CI projects within the factory. This pivotal role focuses on driving changes that enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
This is an ideal opportunity for a production / operations / process specialist with food / beverage manufacturing experience to move into a day‐based, CI‐focused role. You will be comfortable using data to support the development of improvement projects and have previous experience and knowledge of CI tools and methodology.
Responsibilities:- Leading LEAN Initiatives: Present, facilitate, support, and lead assigned LEAN improvement events and activities.
- Analysis and Problem Solving: Conduct root cause analysis, analyse Business Central data, and use appropriate measurement methods to document process improvements.
- Reporting: Develop reports for SLT reviewing accomplishments, participation and projected activities in line with the global lean agenda.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production staff to identify and implement improvements, and coordinate with related departments for information flow.
- Safety Focus: Proactively participate in safety awareness and improvement.
- Project Management: Have oversight of a number of different projects.
