Job Purpose

The Brand & Content Officer will be responsible for developing, protecting and promoting the Group's brands across all organisations, services and stakeholder groups.

The role will ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity and tone of voice whilst delivering a strategic content programme that supports organisational objectives, growth initiatives and stakeholder engagement.

  • Support the development and promotion of the organisation as a positive, engaging and desirable place to work across internal and external channels
  • Lead the creation of employer brand content that reflects organisational culture, values, people and impact
  • Develop creative content and initiatives that enhance employee experience, encourage participation and strengthen organisational culture
  • Ensure consistent and high‑quality application of brand identity across all communications, materials and touchpoints
  • Support the development, evolution and governance of organisational brands, tone of voice and visual identity
  • Maintain and develop brand guidelines, templates and creative standards across all subsidiaries
  • Ensure all brand outputs align with organisational values, positioning and strategic objectives
  • Lead and coordinate the organisation’s involvement in awards, accreditation and recognition opportunities
  • Develop engaging written and visual content, including blogs, case studies, brochures, guides, presentations, webinars, videos and campaign materials
  • Lead content planning aligned to organisational priorities, campaigns and audience needs
  • Create compelling storytelling that demonstrates impact, outcomes and value across all brands
  • Produce high‑quality creative assets for digital and print use, ensuring consistency and brand alignment
  • Develop and maintain Group brand standards
  • Ensure consistency across all subsidiaries and services
  • Provide advice and guidance on brand application
  • Undertake regular brand compliance reviews
  • Develop annual content strategies
  • Create content calendars aligned to organisational priorities
  • Events Coordination Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of organisation‑led events and webinars from a brand and audience experience perspective
  • Ensure events are designed to reflect and strengthen brand identity and messaging
  • Develop promotional and supporting content for events, including invitations, campaigns, presentations and follow‑up materials
  • Oversee attendee experience materials and communications to ensure a consistent and high‑quality brand experience
  • Support post‑event content creation to maximise reach, impact and reuse of event outputs
  • Keep up to date with developments, trends and best practice in branding, content creation, design and audience engagement
  • Monitor emerging creative formats, storytelling approaches and communication trends
  • Maintain awareness of developments, news and trends within relevant sectors, including education, outdoor learning, inclusion and related organisational areas
  • Use sector insight to inform relevant, timely and impactful content, campaigns and messaging
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance brand visibility, storytelling and audience engagement
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve brand consistency, content quality and campaign effectiveness
  • Share insights and best practices with the wider marketing team to support continuous development
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, creativity and output quality
  • Experience in brand management, marketing communications or content marketing
  • Experience developing and delivering content across multiple channels and audiences
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • Experience developing content plans and managing content calendars
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency, tone of voice and messaging
  • Experience creating multimedia content including video, podcasts or photography
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar design platforms
  • Experience supporting or delivering marketing campaigns
  • Experience promoting events, projects or stakeholder engagement activities
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience working across multiple brands, organisations or stakeholder groups
  • Experience within education, childcare, charity or public sector environments
  • Understanding of SEO and digital content optimisation
  • Experience using analytics and reporting tools to measure content performance
