The Outdoor Kitchen Collective is the UKs largest and most comprehensive high-end outdoor kitchen and lifestyle destination business, located in a beautiful 3,200sq ft listed barn in St Albans, Hertfordshire complete with showrooms, demonstration areas and offices.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a competent, self-motivated, and well-organized Sales Designer who will be responsible for all stages of the design, costing, and specification of our outdoor kitchen ranges, canopies and luxury garden lifestyle products.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to enquiries on the phone, by email or in person at the showroom to understand the leads opportunity.
- Give passionate showroom tours to excite clients about their project and the solutions we can offer.
- Be able to understand and advise clients in a consultative non pressured manner to achieve a sale.
- Understand the importance of effective and passionate communication as a critical sales tool.
- Work alongside an existing Sales Designer to foster a healthy, friendly but competitive team that together meets your own and the companys sales targets.
- Actively network within the industry and contribute to CPD talks either here at the showroom or at external events.
- Design, cost, present and negotiate your own projects to convert opportunities to create amazing outdoor kitchen and entertainment environments.
- Build and maintain ongoing B2B and B2C client relationships.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a comparable or transferrable role in design or sales.
- A keen interest in design and luxury products.
- Experience working with design packages, Sketchup, Vector works, CAD, Computer literate. MS Office/Outlook/CRM.
- Commercial awareness.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
