We are now seeking an experienced and inspiring Branch Manager to lead our Plymouth Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic retail leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, developing high‑performing teams and driving commercial success.
The role:
- You will have full responsibility for the leadership, performance and ongoing development of the centre.
- Lead by example, creating a customer-focused culture while ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.
- Manage and deliver retail development projects to enhance the customer experience and commercial performance.
- Lead, coach and motivate a team of over 90 employees to maximise sales and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage the overall operation of the centre, ensuring all commercial and operational targets are achieved.
- Drive sales growth through effective sales floor management and the implementation of company initiatives and promotions.
- Ensure exceptional standards of product knowledge and customer engagement at all times.
- Recruit, develop and retain the right people, providing effective training from induction through to specialist development.
- Oversee stock control, administration, merchandising and presentation to ensure standards are consistently met.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, including Health & Safety and Security, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven people leader with a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a large team in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Commercially driven with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experienced in managing retail operations and leading change or development projects.
- Customer‑focused, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Organised, resilient and able to thrive in a demanding leadership role.
