Key elements of your role as Assistant Bar Manager:
  • To supervise the daily operation of the bar as well as the daily duties of all the Bar staff
  • Work alongside the Bar Manager in the daily operation of the Bar Department
  • To assist in the training of all employees, ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency
  • To be fully aware of current legislation regarding hygiene, licensing laws, weights and measures as they apply to the restaurant
  • To monitor standards and supply of all restaurant equipment, ensuring the management team is aware of any needs
  • To conduct and contribute to regular departmental communications meetings
  • Adhering to cleaning checklists and opening/closing procedures, ensuring that all staff are aware of these and checking back that they have been completed
  • To ensure the bar manager closing duties are carried out when the manager is absent from the floor
About you:
  • You have 2 years experience in this position
  • Solution-driven individual able to work under the pressure of peak service
  • You love to wow guests with exceptional service
  • You have excellent English language skills
  • You are friendly and professional with plenty of charisma and flair
