  • Team & Project Management
    • Lead, mentor, and grow multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mobile, web, backend, QA, DevOps, and data.
    • Manage full project lifecycles—from concept through delivery—ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and business requirements are consistently met.

  • Application & Platform Ownership
    • Oversee ongoing development, optimisation, and lifecycle management of web and mobile applications.
    • Ensure high standards of reliability, performance, and scalability across all systems.
    • Partner with Product, UX, and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
    • Lead strategy and best practices across distributed systems and scalable cloud platforms.
    • Oversee data architecture, ingestion pipelines, storage solutions, and analytics infrastructure.
    • Ensure robust data governance frameworks across all platforms.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Own the organisation's cybersecurity posture, including secure SDLC practices, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA where applicable).
    • Oversee encryption standards, access controls, identity management, and secure infrastructure design.
    • Establish and maintain formal technology governance, risk management, and incident response frameworks.
    • Provide oversight of internal IT governance frameworks, including identity and access management, SaaS system oversight, endpoint security, vendor risk controls, and business continuity planning.
    • Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure platform readiness for enterprise and healthcare environments.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Define and monitor KPIs related to engineering performance, system uptime, quality, and delivery velocity.
    • Manage technology budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships.
    • Introduce automation, tooling, and operational processes that improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
    • Support executive discussions, due diligence processes, and enterprise procurement requirements where needed.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, including 4+ years leading technical teams.
  • Strong hands‐on experience with Swift and Kotlin, including modern frameworks and paradigms (SwiftUI, Combine, Jetpack, coroutines, etc.).
  • Experience overseeing modern web technologies and frontend frameworks.
  • Proven track record of building, scaling, and maintaining production‐grade applications.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience working within AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
