This is a hands-on Group Financial Controller position with a strong focus on IFRS reporting, audit management, group consolidation, and finance leadership. The role sits just below the Head of Finance and is responsible for ensuring the financial integrity of the group while providing strategic financial support to the business.

Key responsibilities of the role:
  • IFRS audit management.
  • Lead and manage the finance team across multiple business units.
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Multi-currency consolidation of Group accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support business growth.
  • Manage external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Optimize financial systems and processes to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate finance activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • IFRS audit experience required.
  • Knowledge and experience working under IFRS.
  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a group structure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
