Responsibilities
- Lead a small team of carers, keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of residents and the home in general.
- Ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed and maintain accurate records.
- Manage your time and your team’s time effectively to support the wellbeing of residents.
- Support residents during night shifts, acknowledge that some shifts may be challenging, and provide a positive, compassionate environment.
- Collaborate with other team members who are passionate about providing care, warmth and kindness in the home.

Mulberry Court care home is a small, friendly home in the heart of Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. Mulberry Court has 23 boutique-style en-suite bedrooms and a dedicated visitor lounge, making it modern yet homely and personal.

About You
You’ll have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or NVQ Level 2 with preparedness to study for NVQ Level 3. You’ll be experienced in leading a team to deliver care, keen to progress to a role with greater responsibility, and willing to undertake relevant training to support your career development in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment.
You’ll be a positive role model with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. As a supportive leader, you’ll motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times.
