Location: Orchard Way, Holmer Green

Pay rate: £14.75 per hour

Contracted hours: FIXED TERM: 30 hours per week - Maternity Cover for 1 year

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an experienced carer with a desire to progress your career to the next level? Do you prefer to work nights? Our care teams make a real difference every day and your professionalism, teamed with kindness and compassion, will be at the core of everything you do. Leading a small team of carers, you’ll be responsible for keeping wakeful watch on the security and safety of our residents and the home in general. You’ll ensure that care plans are regularly reviewed, understanding the importance of maintaining accurate records, and will be able to manage the time of both yourself and your team effectively to support the wellbeing of our residents. You’ll understand that some shifts might be challenging, but you’ll also laugh, have fun and make lasting memories with our residents.

ABOUT YOU

You’ll have NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or you’ve achieved NVQ Level 2, and you’re prepared to study for NVQ Level 3. You’ll also be experienced in leading a team to deliver care, be keen to progress to a role with greater levels of responsibility and be willing to undertake relevant training to support your career development in a nurturing, engaging and rewarding environment. You’ll be a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others. A supportive leader, you’ll motivate your team to deliver the best possible care to our residents at all times.
