Location: Langford View, Bicester, Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: ÂŁ14.85 per hour (plus weekend and NVQ enhancements available)
Contracted Hours: 18 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 10:00pm – 7:00am (first week 2 night shifts midweek, second week 2 night shifts over weekend)
About the role
Are you an experienced senior carer or support worker with a passion to make a difference? Do you want to work night shifts and lead a small team to deliver outstanding care to residents, encouraging them to always do their best? As a Night Care Assistant you will work closely with the Home Manager and support a team of carers to plan, implement and review care plans that give residents a sense of security, dignity and independence. You will manage your time between supporting your team effectively and ensuring the wellbeing of residents. Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and review individualized care plans for residents.
- Lead a small team of carers, providing guidance and support.
- Ensure care is delivered in a dignified and independent manner.
- Record and evaluate resident care and progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with statutory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience as a senior carer or support worker.
- Strong leadership and team‑working abilities.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and remain calm in challenging situations.
