ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Support the Home Manager and lead a team of carers to deliver outstanding care to residents.
  • Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity, and independence.
  • Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed through continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • Manage time between supporting the team effectively and ensuring the wellbeing of residents.
  • Provide opportunities for career development and training to support personal growth.

About You

  • You will have previous experience of working in a residential care setting with a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • You might have previous supervisory experience, like delegating tasks, supporting inductions for new starters and 1 to 1s but this is not essential.
  • You are a positive role model, with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to get along with others.
  • You are a supportive individual, able to motivate others to deliver the best possible care to residents at all times.
  • You are confident, able to take charge and use your initiative to resolve problems and deal with queries.
