In this newly created role as Head of Hospitality, you’ll join our senior leadership team in a unique opportunity; leading, inspiring and elevating hospitality standards across our organisation ensuring every home feels not just well led, but truly special.
About the Role
You will provide both strategic direction and operational oversight across all hospitality services, including:
- Catering & dining experiences
- Activities & resident engagement
- Housekeeping, cleaning & laundry
This is a highly influential role working closely with Registered Managers and central teams to ensure our services are not only compliant but consistently exceptional for our residents. You’ll help shape the moments that matter: a beautifully presented meal, a meaningful activity, a welcoming entrance, a spotless and homely environment.
You’ll lead and support our catering teams to deliver nutritious, delicious meals that residents genuinely look forward to, always considering individual needs, preferences and dietary or medical needs. Activities for our residents are key in supporting wellbeing, connection and joy in everyday life. You will work to ensure these are consistently delivered by our activities leads in the homes to be engaging, inclusive and enriching.
From the moment someone walks through the door, you’ll ensure our homes feel warm, professional, and inviting; through supporting admissions, housekeeping and laundry services to instil pride in our home environments. We are looking for you to drive quality, compliance and improvement through use audits, feedback and data, ensuring we meet and exceed regulatory standards while always striving for more.
Naturally you will have high standards and see hospitality as key to our service delivery, leading and motivating teams to flourish and be the best they can, whilst supporting growth and sustainability. You’ll contribute to occupancy, our reputation and financial sustainability through strong budget management, supplier partnerships, and high‑quality service delivery.
About You
You’ll bring a blend of professional expertise, leadership presence, and genuine warmth. With significant leadership experience in hospitality, catering, housekeeping or service management (ideally within care or multi‑site environments) you understand that hospitality is care and plays a vital role in wellbeing and quality in our residents' lives. You are passionate about high standards, with a keen eye for detail and presentation. You can influence and inspire teams across multiple locations. You are confident working with data, audits, and feedback to drive improvement. You have strong commercial awareness, balancing quality with cost‑effectiveness. You build positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and key external stakeholders at all levels.
You will have access to your own transport and be able to visit locations across our entire portfolio, with contractual base at either Lincoln or Aylesbury.
Qualifications & Experience
- Leadership/Management qualification (Level 3+)
- NVQ Level 3 in Catering/Hospitality (minimum)
- Level 3 Food Safety (Level 4 desirable)
- City & Guilds 706/2 or equivalent
