If you want to work in a school where children are at the centre of every decision, then The Orchards could be the school for you! The Orchards is a specialist free school, which opened in September 2016, to support the learning needs of disabled pupils in the North of Trafford. Our bespoke and child centred curriculum is both dynamic and exciting and we are looking for practitioners who would like to join our team and deliver this curriculum for our pupils.
In September 2023 our staff team worked together to create The Orchard’s cultural values and we are looking for staff who want to work in this culture to join our forward thinking and dynamic staff team.
We value:
- Ensuring that children influence everything that we do and we are driven to work so that every child gets the very best.
- Ensuring that everyone’s welfare is important and everyone feels listened to and valued.
- Believing in the shared vision of the school and working hard as individuals to bring that to life to improve outcomes for children and their families.
If you share these values and want to work in a school where staff say … ‘Staff well being is well considered and workload is spread well to avoid an overwhelming amount of work for staff’ and ‘It has been a real pleasure joining the school. I feel listened to and valued daily’ then we could be the school for you! Come and help us ‘Champion Remarkable Children’ at our truly remarkable and fabulous school.
If you would like to come and see our school, please contact the school office to arrange a date and time via email admin@tos.bright-futures.co.uk.
We are open, supportive and flexible with high-quality CPD opportunities through our Teaching School Hubs and Professional Development Institute.
Bright Futures Educational Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out and references will be sought for shortlisted candidates and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks with statutory bodies.
