An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, creative, and committed individual to join to our team of recently graded Outstanding team of dedicated Early Years Educators at The Orchard Preschool in Lustleigh.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and outdoorsy individual to come and join our team as a Nursery & Preschool Assistant
The Orchard Preschool is situated in the beautiful small village of Lustleigh. As well as having use of the village hall, we have purpose-built Nature Garden and Nurture Gardens situated in Lustleigh Orchard.
We cater for babies from 8 months old to school starters, in our Acorn, Sapling and Oaks.
You will be required to work 4 days per week term time and 3 days per week in our holiday club during the Easter and Summer Holidays.
The successful person will hold a full and relevant qualification at level 2/3 and have an exceptional working knowledge of the EYFS. You should have had recent experience of working in a preschool setting, nursery, or school setting. All our level 3 employees are paid £12.40.
Duties would include contributing to a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in our nurturing preschool, giving support to other staff within the setting and implementing/leading/supporting the daily routine.
Working hours will be 8 am – 4:30pm during Term Time, plus Holiday Club during Easter and Summer Holidays.
The Orchard Preschool are committed to safeguarding children and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is required for this post.
This role requires a DBS disclosure.
This post is covered by the Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2018.
