The Orchard is seeking a Physical Operations Manager to join our dynamic Solutions team in the UK on a 6 Months Fixed Term Contract. You will be responsible for supporting the seamless operation of the UK Physical Supply Chain, synthesizing interactions across Orchard internal departments and clients, and our warehousing and fulfilment partner, DP World. This is a highly responsible role that requires working to strict deadlines, a keen eye for detail, and a love for all types of music.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Orchard stakeholders including but not limited to Solutions Managers, Physical Sales, International Inventory & Supply Chain Management and Relationship teams to ensure smooth operation of the supply chain.
  • Managing, circulating and improving an extensive suite of physical reporting for internal teams, clients and customers.
  • Support to wider Physical Solutions team, including Production & D2C Managers, as required.
  • Organise stock movements from and between our warehouses on behalf of our clients.
  • Monitor catalogue stock levels in the UK supply chain, advising and organising restocks and destruction of overstocks.
  • Advise and remind internal and external stakeholders on physical supply chain best practices.

Who you are:

  • Highly organised, bringing a methodical and exacting approach to your work.
  • Relevant experience working in physical music distribution or similar.
  • Excellent Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • A multi-tasker with supreme attention to detail, follow-through and effective prioritisation.
  • Effective communicator on phone, email, and in person.
