We are recruiting for Packhouse Operatives to join our Production team at Angus, Salford Priors. In this hands‑on role, you will sort and pack premium soft fruit, including strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards and customer specifications.Working in a fast‑paced environment, you'll play an important role in helping us deliver great‑tasting berries that delight our customers each and every day.,
- To sort produce according to quality standards and customer requirements.
- To pack produce using punnets, boxes, crates and pallets to customer specification.
- To ensure produce weight accuracy.
- To wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- To report any issues to the Team Leader.
- To maintain safe and clean work areas
- To work collaboratively with other departments
- To comply with all Angus Soft Fruits' and food hygiene policies and procedures.
- To comply with health and safety legislation.
- To proactively participate in the individual performance management process, achieving SMART targets and continuous personal development.
- To fully participate in the development and achievement of the Production Departmental Vision.

We are looking for a positive and reliable person who enjoys working as part of a team. You will be comfortable in a busy, fast‑paced environment and take pride in completing your work accurately.Good communication skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn are important. You will be reliable, flexible in your approach to working hours and physically fit to undertake a role that involves standing and packing for extended periods. Previous experience in a factory or packhouse environment would be beneficial, although not essential., Proven experience of working in a fast‑paced environment

Physically fit and able to undertake a hands‑on role involving standing and packing for extended periods.
Contract: Fixed term from 01/10/2026 to 29/05/2027
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 32 hours over 4 days per week to include at least one weekend day. Variable working patterns are available and will be discussed during the interview process.
