As a KS3/KS4 SEND Teacher at Orchard Manor School you will plan and deliver high‑quality, engaging and personalised learning for pupils with SEND. You will adapt instruction to meet the needs of pupils with autism, communication difficulties, SEMH and anxiety, use a Total Communication approach, and support pupils’ academic achievement, wellbeing, independence and personal development.

- Use a Total Communication approach to help pupils engage, communicate and succeed.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, families and multi‑agency professionals.
- Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, independence and personal development.
- Contribute to EHCP outcomes through highly personalised provision and targeted support.
- Be part of a reflective staff team committed to continual improvement and best practice across the Trust.

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
