The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.

Opportunity for a Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our small, friendly team. Hours of work 8 – 5.30pm Monday – Friday. Salary is dependent on experience and qualification. Opportunity to job share – so if you are looking for part time hours please apply.

The nursery looks after children aged 6 months – 4 years 11 months and has up to 16 children per day. You will work with a team of qualified practitioners following the policies and procedures set out for the nursery. To help all children achieve their potential you will help plan activities for the children and work collaboratively with the team to deliver our high standards and statutory compliance at all times. You will be a qualified early years practitioner, with at least two years nursery experience who just wants the best for every child in our nursery. You will have empathy and understanding for children under 5 years, excellent communication skills, be organised and have an ability to keep clear and accurate records. You will be reliable, enthusiastic and be passionate about early years.

Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver and ensure a high standard of learning, development and care for the children in the nursery
  2. Help plan, implement and evaluate engaging activities for the children
  3. Ensure a safe environment for children and others
  4. Have a number of key children, track their progress through observations and termly reports
  5. Develop partnerships with parents/carers to engage them in their child’s development
  6. Any tasks as designated by the nursery manager

Qualifications: min. L3 in an Early Years qualification

We can offer you a vibrant, well organised and welcoming nursery. We’re a friendly team who work well together but also individually. We offer training opportunities and a competitive salary amongst other benefits. The nursery is open all year and the hours of work are 8 – 5.30pm Monday – Friday (1 hour lunch break).
