Bar/ events supervisor

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/ Events Supervisor to lead our bar team and enhance the overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion drink service and events. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, Mixology knowledge, and the ability to manage a busy bar environment effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling stock levels.
• Train, supervise, and motivate bar staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Monitor financial performance and assist in budget management for the bar area.
• Enforce opening & closing checklists and maintain cleanliness.
• Set up furniture and layouts for events; support smooth delivery.
• Lead staff on shift, manage schedules on , and train new team members.
• Keep accurate handover notes and suggest improvements.

Skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within events or bar setting.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience as a bartender.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
