About the Opportunity
Are you a recent graduate of a Physiotherapy Program or an international candidate who has completed credentialing with CAPR? We invite you to apply for our Physiotherapy Residency at Nova Scotia Health, with opportunities available across Western Nova Scotia:
- Positions at multiple Northern Zone sites include: Aberdeen Hospital, All Saints Springhill Hospital, Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, South Cumberland Community Care Centre, Sutherland Harris Memorial Hospital.

The Physiotherapist reports to the Program Manager and assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with impairments, pain, or disabilities in a tertiary care setting. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing holistic treatment plans using exercises, education, manual therapy, and other techniques, and communicating with other health professionals and patients.
About You
If you meet the following requirements, we encourage you to apply:
- Graduation from a Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized school
- Current or eligible registration in a Resident capacity with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and eligibility for Canadian Physiotherapy Association membership
- Current CPR certification
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of other languages, especially French, is an asset

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate: $36.58
