Job Overview
This Audit Manager role is ideal for an experienced audit professional currently operating at Manager level or a strong Assistant Manager ready to progress. The successful Audit Manager will oversee a varied portfolio of clients, lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and work closely with senior leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Location
London, within walking distance of Liverpool Street Underground Station.
Working Pattern
Office based during probation, then hybrid (3 to 5 days in office depending on work commitments)
Salary
£60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a broad range of industries
Leading audits from planning through to completion
Reviewing audit work prepared by junior team members
Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the audit team
Ensuring audit assignments are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Collaborating closely with Partners and senior leadership on client delivery and strategic projects
Here are the skills you’ll need:
Previous experience working as an Audit Manager or ready to progress into an Audit Manager role
Strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
ACA or ACCA qualified preferred
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Strong technical audit knowledge and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments and deadlines effectively
A proactive and collaborative approach to team leadership
