As a Warehouse Operative working nights, you’ll be essential to ensuring parcels are efficiently unloaded, processed through advanced sortation equipment, and sent on their way for next-day delivery across the network. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Handling parcels, both manually and with equipment, as directed by the Shift Manager
  • Using available equipment to complete thorough security checks
  • Ensuring all equipment is in full working order and reporting any faults if necessary
  • Monitoring goods for any potential damage and notifying a Shift Manager of issues
  • Preventing damage to vehicles and machinery, alerting the Shift Manager of any identified issues
  • Upholding health and safety policies to maintain a safe work environment at all times
  • Implementing security policies to ensure secure handling of goods
  • Undertaking other duties as reasonably requested by Management or the Shift Manager
  • Consistently demonstrating core values of passion, respect, honesty, flexibility, hard work, and accountability

Here Are the Skills You’ll Need:

  • Ability to work five nights a week (23:30 to 08:30) or four nights a week (23:30 to 09:30), including weekends as the depot operates 365 days a year
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Flexibility, dependability, and a proactive approach to work
  • Ability to start immediately is preferred
